Boat Fishing Competition - Sunday 12th June

The second match between SSAC & AYC is a flatfish competition. Species to count include Plaice, Brill, Turbot, Flounder, Topknot, Dab, Sole, & Megrim. With SSAC taking the honours last time, AYC have it all to fish for! Sign in on the entry sheet at the Cafe on the East side of the harbour.

There is no fixed start time, the start is whenever people are able to exit the river - last weigh in at 14:00, SSAC weigh station (beachmaster: Bernie Rosewarne). Entrants should consider pre-ordering their bait, if they use Chris at the Tackle shop, to prevent disappointment. With the competition being a flatfish event bait such as Rag worm will be in high demand especially as there are a lot of visiting anglers at the moment. Chris's number is 01297 625511

Prizes for overall winning club (joint members declare your allegiance prior to the match!), individual seniors (1st, 2nd & 3rd), and juniors (1st & 2nd).
