A talk by Nigel Daniel, a past Commodore and author of 'The Story of Axmouth Harbour'

Remember when the entrance to the harbour was half a mile wide?

Want to know more about the history of where we live?

This entertaining and informative talk follows the history of the harbour from the bronze age through to the present day. It looks closely at the medieval and 19th Century periods of commerce and the challenges of maintaining the port.

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion

There will also be food available - chicken or vegetable curry with rice, popadoms, and chutneys £10 pp. SOLD OUT

Food now sold out but you are welcome to come to the talk (no ticket required but bring cash for collection for the RNLI)
