Grizzly Presentation Evening at AYC

The Annual Grizzly Presentation Evening was held at Axe Yacht Club on Wednesday 22nd April. The event was very well attended by a wide variety of donation recipients, who were given the opportunity to explain what the money would be used for.

Once again the Grizzly team were able to donate an amazing sum of over £50,000 to over 70 beneficiaries, including a total of £5,250 to the landowners nominated charities. This year's donations now means the grand total raised since the event began is very close to £600,000. 

The Grizzly Committee is extremely proud of this amount & it makes all their hard work over the year worthwhile. They recognise that of course they could not hold this event in its current form without the kind permission of the landowners who allow them to use their land. It's what makes the event so unique & appealing to the runners who keep returning year on year. The Grizzly still remains one of the top multi-terrain races to do in the UK, which is mainly due to the iconic course.
