Round The Island Results

Here's the results of the RTI Race, another success for the Scows. 

The challenging conditions (lack of) were made doubly interesting negotiating the passage behind the islands. Frequent changes of position occurred - generally in slow motion, and then the adverse tide started to build.

However, Ivor made use of his own private 'breeze' to propel him into first place on handicap - well done.

And well done to the few that persevered to complete the course. The Coypu certainly persevered, Robert is apparently changing the name of his boat toTenacious,  and will be fitting navigation lights!

Apparently there was also an eclipse during the race - Morag's predictions of apocalyptic winds seemed unfounded!!!
