Fund Raising for the RNLI

Despite the Charity Weekend being scaled down because of a clash with Colyton Carnival, Sunday proved to be very successful. Having started with a thunder storm, the sun came out for the afternoon.
Bacon baps and hot drinks raised £157 for the RNLI - well done Tony for manning the till! Wendy had excellent sales, accompanied by the added attraction of Lyme's RNLB. The Atlantic 85 performed some MOB exercises in the bay, followed by an alongside visit to our landing pontoon. This proved very popular with both the youngsters and grown-ups alike, with onboard 'tours' provided. Thanks to Carol & Nicola for organising the day.
The Pig Racing & Raffle has now been rescheduled for Saturday 11th November - put the date in your diary now!
