AXE YACHT CLUB - KEY GOALS
The AYC Development Plan lays out the Club's ambitions & plans for the coming years. The Club's key goals, which the development plan seeks to deliver, include:
- Facilitate participation in watersports for all.
- Maintain/increase membership within the constraints of the site.
- Work with agencies to maintain the harbour and access to the sea with annual dredging in the winter months.
- Maintain harbour facilities including slipways, pontoons etc.
- Continue to improve & maximise the use of the clubhouse facilities.
- Review enhancing the clubhouse sea defence.
- Increase the level of volunteering to support all aspects of Club activities.
- Increase training available for members (shore based & on the water).
- Develop a Club information plan.
