Activity on the River Axe

Last week saw lots of activity on the river with the Axmouth Summer Festival Pursuit Race on Thursday and the Round the Island Race on Saturday. 

In addition to the winner of the pursuit race (well done Alex!) there was a prize for the best dressed craft - Malcolm with his 'Peace' offering.

(for the record Eddy's mate was Rhys Jones!!)

In a race that saw places change frequently, combined with the frustration of sailing down a very flukey Embankment Channel, we had a very worthy winner.....
