Charity Weekend Fishing Match

The potential weather conditions put many of the SSAC & AYC fishermen off taking part in the weekend's fishing match but two boats did brave it. Bobby Carless on Manta Ray 2 chose to go to the Empress wreck quite a distance away, whilst John Wallington on his catamaran Outcast took a closer approach fishing the Bay & other close marks. Congratulations to Simon Tothill & Bobby who shared the species prize having both caught bass & pollock. John scooped a fine 2lb13oz plaice to take the best specimen prize.
