AYC Raises £842 for the RNLI & the Devon Freewheelers

WELL DONE & THANKYOU to everyone involved in the Charity Weekend activities, both on & off the water. A particular thank you to Mike Nice & Peter Diment who donated the food they cooked on Saturday night, and the Palacios who donated the food for the Sunday lunches, they raised £300 between them!

Thanks also to Lyme Bay Mobility, GRB Valeting, Seaton Tramway & all the members who donated some fantastic raffle prizes - the raffle & auction raised £288.65. The stalls on Sunday morning raised £178.42 - Sue Smith deserves a special mention as she raised £49.80 on her stall and then came in to help prepare & serve all the lunches!

Entries for the dinghy/cruiser racing & fishing competition were limited by the weather, but we still raised a very respectable total of £842 which will be divided between the two nominated charities.
