June Dinghy Racing Round Up

This weekend saw the completion of the June Dinghy Series, which had 16 entries. Michael Crees finished in first place with 8 points from 5 races. Cadet Harry Newbery sailed well throughout the series & was only 4 points behind in second.

4th Frank Collins 27 points
Races 3 & 4 of the River Race Series have been completed and Mike Calvert leads the series. Race 3 was also the 'Round the Island' Cup race, which was won by David Barnett sailing his Lymington Skow, Merhaba.
The new Saturday Dinghy Series, which will run throughout the season, has also got underway this month. This series aims to introduce less experienced adults and cadets to dinghy racing as part of the Saturday Sailing sessions. Holly Thompson and Tom Clayton are currently joint leaders of the series with one win each.
