    RYA First Aid Course - 12th March 2016

    This one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. Members £50, non-members £75.   • New fishing restrictions for Bass in 2016

    New restrictions on commercial and recreational bass fishing came into force on 29 January 2016. For recreational fishing, only catch and release is permitted from 1 January to 30 June 2016 . From 1 July to 31 December 2016 one bass per fisherman per day. For more details click the link below. www.gov.uk .

    'Club Sunday' Carvery 6th March 2016

    Carvery lunches are starting on 6th March! It is also Mothering Sunday so why not celebrate at the Club. Food will be served from 12-2pm.   • Club Sunday Carvery 7th Feb CANCELLED

    Unfortunately the caterer for this weekend has had to cancel due to illness - there was huge interest in the carvery so this is very disappointing for the social team. We hope to launch 'Club Sunday' on 6th March instead (its also Mothering Sunday!). Further details will be posted on this page soon.

  • Changes to Cadet & Dinghy Programme for 2016

    The cadet WG is working closely with the dinghy section to integrate activities more closely in 2016.   • RDYC Commodore's Challenge Cup

    To celebrate the Royal Dart Yacht Club's 150th anniversary the AYC has been invited to take part in the Savills Commodore's Challenge Cup to be held in the waters off Start Bay on the 23rd July 2016. It would be good to get a few of the AYC boats to take part. See PDF for further details. Its raced using IRC ratings so a one off rating might be required.
