  • Meet the British Olympic Sailing Team at Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sat 27th August

    Fresh from their success representing Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Olympics, the British Sailing Team is heading to Dartmouth Royal Regatta to share their success.     AYC Cadets Race at Portland & Weymouth National Sailing Academy

    On Sunday 14 th August a group of AYC Cadets went over to Portland & Weymouth Sailing Academy for the 'Sail for Gold' event.The British sailing squad gave us a masterclass. We were allocated three Picos and put into teams of three ensuring everyone got a go! There were four races between sixteen boats sailing around a triangular course.   • A Busy Weekend of Racing

    Well done to new member Tim O'Toole who won both the Harbour Race and the Dinghy Pursuit Series this weekend in his Solo, both raced in very light winds. There were then five cruisers out for the Mermaid Trophy Race today with Summer Wine taking the honours.

    Axe Regatta 'Parade of Boats'

    More than 60 boats joined the Axe Regatta Parade of Boats along Seaton seafront on July 30 th . Members of the Seaton Sea Anglers Club & the East Devon Fishermen's Association joined AYC sailing boats & motorboats of all shapes and sizes to provide a spectacular back drop to the Seaton Devon Air Ambulance Week events at Fisherman's Gap.     Cruiser Pursuit Race Brings Cadet Week To An End

    At the end of a very busy & successful Cadet Week, 37 cadets & parents were given the chance to experience 'Big Boat' sailing aboard 12 boats in a pursuit race around Lyme Bay.   • Axe Regatta 'Parade of Boats' Saturday 30th July

    Come & join the 'Parade of Boats' this Saturday afternoon. Sailing boats & motor boats, large or small - all are welcome. It's a chance for us to show off the wide range of boats that AYC members enjoy. We will parade eastwards from Seaton Hole, reaching the harbour entrance at high water.
