Meet The Neighbours Dinner 20th January

A great turn out for the 'Meet the Neighbours' dinner hosted by Axe Yacht Club last night. Guests included representatives from Lyme Regis, Beer, and Sidmouth Sailing Clubs with a mix of cruiser, dinghy and lugger sailors. Penny, assisted by Jenny & Harriet, did a fantastic job producing delicious food for 74 people - Lancashire hotpot followed by trifle & fruit salad.

Anna got a last minute call-up to waitress and she & Xanthe worked very hard all evening. A carefully planned seating plan ensured that everyone met someone new and no-one seemed in a rush to go home with the bar being kept very busy!

A big thank you to everyone who helped set up and clear up. Hopefully the evening will act as a starting point for stronger links between the sailing clubs of Lyme Bay.
