Each day starts with a briefing so the Cadets will know who their Instructor is and which group they are sailing with.

  1. Bring a packed lunch in case we can sail all day.
  2. Each cadet will need to be signed in and out each day.
  3. The will be a charge of £10 per sailing day per cadet payable on the day please.
  4. Don't forget a drink, sun cream and a hat.

Of course it is still too early to confirm the timings for sure. We will be sending messages each afternoon by WhatsApp for the following day. If we are on the river then we have early starts to make the most of the tides. However if we can launch from the beach then we will start later. We have tried to include as much time sailing as possible so if the weather and conditions are excellent on Monday 13 August we will try to get out on the water as well.

Fran has set up the WhatsApp group and you should have had the first message. If you have not received that message please get in touch with Fran. If you are not on the group and would like to be, please send your details to as soon as possible.

We will be in touch with more details for Big Boat Day through the week as we know what the weather conditions will be.

Don't forget the social evenings: Wednesday for Pizza at The Ship in Axmouth and Friday for Skittles at the Club. We need a strong showing from Cadets and Families for the skittles to take on teams from the rest of the Club. Sign up your team of 4 - 6 players on the noticeboard in the Club. Bob is cooking Sausage and Chips.
