Wave Sentinel Visits Axe
Wave Sentinel, a 126m cable laying ship, captained by AYC's RC Activities Afloat Nigel Daniel, made a visit to the Axe on Sunday on it's way from Portland to Falmouth. An impressive sight in Seaton Bay!

Eddystone Race Sailing Instructions
At long last the SI for the Eddystone Race next weekend is finally on the website ! A slight change in start time to 1930 as opposed to 2100 due to the tide times. If anyone wishing to take part who may have an issue with the start time moving to 1930 please say so we may consider adjusting it. We do not want to discourage participation as the more competitors on this

AYC CHARITY WEEKEND FISHING COMPETITION - Saturday 3rd June
Start when you can leave the harbour. Weigh-in at AYC 4.30pm. Prizes for the most mackerel donated to the BBQ and largest plaice (both adults & under 16s). FREE ENTRY. BBQ, pig racing & band in clubhouse to follow.

AYC Curry Night raises £524 for the Gurkha Welfare Trust
Congratulations to Penny Coplestone, Jenny Haywood & Penny's twin Susie who produced a fantastic meal for over 60 members on Friday night. Thanks also to Dave & Patsie Kingdon who organised the raffle, waitresses Harriet & Anna (who donated their wages to the Gurkhas), & to everyone who donated prizes. What a great evening & a fantastic amount of money raised!
