Contact Tony Hinton (Blue Jay), David Haywood (Canna), Greg Parkinson ( Elena Skye) or Huntley Evans (Oyster Catcher)
Passage races are ones that start or finish at another port. These are run on summer weekends with early morning tides. They are usually day races to other south west ports. They start from off the club house and follow a direct course to a finish line near the destination port. The races are a laid back affair and many families and friends use them as weekend summer escapes.
The races are for stand alone cups presented at the end of the year at the Annual prize giving:
- Exmouth Race - Cruiser B Challenge Cup
- Dartmouth Race - John Sandys Cup
- Torquay Race - Cruiser Cup
- Brixham Race - Harbour Inn Cup
Rallies are run alongside the races and berthing at the destination port is often organised along with some form of evening social event either a meal out or a boat / pontoon party to discuss the day's sailing. Motor boats often join the yachts for these rallies.
