All-Comers Weekend - 12th & 13th Sept

This weekend the forecast is good and we are keen to see as many boats as possible out on the water.

As part of this 'All-Comers Weekend', there will be an informal 'race' for any boat with a sail (incl cruisers, day boats, dinghies, luggers). HW is 14:10 (2.7m) Saturday so we'll aim to launch the dinghies from 12:00 (weather permitting) for a 13:00 start. If there is interest in a repeat, then we can do it all again on Sunday 1 hour later.

Sign up online to take part (cadets stage 2 & above unless sailing with a competent family member). We also need two support boats each day - any volunteers??

The sea should be flat for the motor boaters too, so let's fill the bay with boats and make it a memorable whole Club event!!

The bar will be open from 5pm & we would like to be able to offer a simple meal on Saturday evening. Possibly just sausage in a bun or burger in a bun but we're open to any suggestions. Would you be able to help with this? Email social@axeyachtclub.co.uk if you could.
