'Spice & Rice' are returning to AYC for the Regatta
Those who came to the curry evening last June will know that 'Spice & Rice' produce delicious food. They will be serving a selection of curries on Saturday 9th July from 18:30-20:30. No advance booking. Order & pay on the night. Tables inside and out, boules on the beach weather permitting. Bar opens after sailing.

Jubilee Parade of Boats
Over 70 boats (dinghies, kayaks, yachts, motor boats, & fishing boats) took part in the parade from Seaton Hole to Axmouth Harbour, led by Nobby the dredger closely followed by the President and the Commodore. There are so many fantastic photos - more will be posted on the website soon but here are just a few.

AYC Hosts Grizzly Presentation Evening
Representatives from many local charities and organisations gathered in the clubhouse last night for the presentation of cheques by the Grizzly team. The Grizzly 2022 was able to donate almost £34,000, making a grand total of just under £500,000 raised since the Grizzly started in 1988. AYC nominated the RNLI as our charity of choice and they received a cheque for £824.

Fitting Out Party in aid of the RNLI
68 members enjoyed Saturday's Fitting Out Party raising over £1,700 for the RNLI. Three long tables were beautifully set by the social team. The food was generously sponsored by Dave & Helen Henderson, who also volunteered their son Paul to produce the 4 course meal! The Crusty Cobb kindly donated the bread rolls which accompanied the delicious salt baked cauliflower soup. This was followed by a choice of curries or pulled beef brisket cottage pie.
