Friday evening talk 24th February 7.30pm - Moatt Sails

The next Friday evening talk will be given by Portland sailmaker Steven Moatt - there will be a degree of practical participation as he & his new head sailmaker, Richard Bowers, demonstrate how they put shape in a sail through the use of broad seaming & luff curve. The floor will be open to questions throughout the evening. Talk starts 7.30pm, entry £1 payable on the night. After the talk Jenny will be serving faggots with peas (mushy if so desired!) & cabbage £3pp - sign up on the list in the clubhouse or email social@axeyachtclub.co.uk if you want food.
